As well as my regular posts from the island of Phuket in southern Thailand, I will also update this page with just the photos without the texts of the amphibians and reptiles that I see on the island. The photographs date from August 2017 onwards.
I mostly visit areas local to my house but on occasions I travel further afield on the island, primarily searching for amphibians and reptiles but I also spend time looking for birds and mammals. Although the island is severely over-developed for tourism and relatively few wild places still remain, Phuket still holds a highly diverse fauna which also includes some endemic species. For example, since moving here in August 2017, I have already recorded close to 40 species of snake on this island so far.
