Since I came back from Greece I have been out and about a couple of times. Twice I visited my local population of Adders (Vipera berus) finding 14 females on one occasion. I had a great couple of weeks holiday in the Cyclades islands as I did in summer 2015. Despite the July/August typical hot and dry weather I did find quite a few species as I wandered to and from the beach. The islands visited included Antiparos, Paros, Mykonos, Delos, Koufonisia, Iraklia and Naxos. Thanks to Stephen Roussos and Panagiotis Sahas for some help in situ.
