Saturday saw some sunshine and nice temperatures, so I saw my first adders (Vipera berus) of the year, several weeks later than usual. Five familiar males were making the most of the weather. At two different sites I saw a couple of common lizards (Zootoca vivipara) and a pair of Peregrine falcons (Falco perigrinus) taking nesting material to their rocky ledge.

I like the facial pattern on that bottom male lizard, should have the ladies flocking round him.
